Retro Find ;)

So as I was going through my makeup today,(for my all natural cleanse) I found an old eyeshadow I used to love. It was my mom's from when she was younger. She gave it to me when I started wearing makeup ( a long while ago.) I just thought it was random eyeshadow she didn't use. Well it seems to be from the 80's maybe earlier....when I looked it up I found a funny commercial so I had to share!

 I recently had the pleasure of making my 1st ' Candles by Victoria '  purchase! I was very excited because I had wanted to try them ever since I first heard of them on Youtube. They were having an amazing sale so I had to get some! After an intense wait I finally got my package! This is what I got....

I was in love with the idea of this palette! I love True Blood and I feel like the colors in this palette are great matches for their names and the show. I feel like the packaging could've been better thought out but it is very nice quality. The shadows seem less pigmented than I expected based on the price of this little guy. The eyeliner is highly smudge-proof but super creamy! I was very impressed with the consistency of it. I feel like it was a nice buy. It will get me started in my 'all natural' products fast and has all the colors I need on a daily.   >:-[....

Healthy Nails

A few weeks ago I tried gel-nails for the 1st time. I work with a lot of money and boxes so my nails just chip and break off and my skin gets dry too! :( So usually I would just use my Hard as Nails polish and pray they will grow out! I've tried false nails before but they just aren't for me. So when I heard about the gel-nails I was excited but skeptical. I LOVED them! they completely protected my real nails and they didn't break or peel or fall off! Plus the polish is the gel so it doesn't fade or wear off!

I had a wedding to go to a few days ago and I had randomly bought some Hard as Nails natural tint. It is the same as the original clear Hard as Nails but it is pinkish in color.

1st I just wiped all my nails with NON acetone polish remover and then I painted one coat of the Hard as Nails. They didn't come out pink but the tint kind of freshened their look up and glossed them over. I haven't tried the clear over gel-nails but I feel like the natural tint would camouflage the growth better....

Over all I love gel-nails and the 'natural tint' Hard as Nails!

I've always  wanted this color in my hair so last time I was shopping I picked up a cheap extension. I know it is too long but I just got a haircut and my hair is typically very long, so I think I'll just keep it that length. I'm thinking about purchasing some high quality 'weaves' now. :-P

I've been wanting to change my hair for a while and I think I want some color. I'm too chicken/cheap to dye it but I want some red peek a boo's. I found the perfect red color in extensions ( dark red almost the color of cherry wood) but I hesitated to buy them. I just saw Kandee's youtube video on feather extensions and I think I'm in love!
